THE PINSPIRED TEACHER

Short Introductory Video (coming soon!)

Quick Definitions:

My Name: The Pinspired Teacher stems from when I first started teaching- the same time Pinterest was just hittin’ the scene. I found so many great teaching ideas from Pinterest that I deemed myself The Pinspired Teacher. Now as I evolve and grow, I consider Pinspired to also mean professionally inspired because I share inspirations from many platforms-even a face-to-face conversation I have with another teacher can leave them feeling “Pinspired” (professional inspired).

heartPinspired: (adj) to be “professionally inspired”  That moment you see, here, read, or use something by The Pinspired Teacher that makes you go “OoOh I’m trying that [idea, tip, resource]. The core value of this blog is to leave you feeling pinspired every time you visit this site.

heartPinspired Nation: Educators who were pinspired by any content created by The Pinspired Teacher’s content via any platform and put that pinspiration into action. These rock star teachers take their teaching skills to the next level and share their successes via the hashtag #pinspirednation.

heart#PinspiredNation: A hashtag used by educators using advice or resources created by The Pinspired Teacher to connect and share their successes with other educators. This hashtag excites me beyond… you know why? Because it gives you the chance to see how the very resource you are using is being used in classrooms around the world and gives you an opportunity to connect to the other educators.  The #2 reason I love #pinspirednation is because  I get to see your fairytale ending and that is the heartbeat of why I became a teacher-author-to have a true impact on the professional lives of teachers.

heartPinspiration: (noun) Anything you find here on my blog that serves as a professional inspiration to you!
